History
Advantage Self Storage Management, LLC. A Texas limited liability company is an affiliate of Advantage Self Storage, Inc., established in 1995 by Rick Jones and a family trust. Rick Jones is its President and Chief Executive Officer.
Since its founding, Advantage has developed and managed ten storage facilities in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex comprising more than 5,000 units and over six hundred thousand leasable square feet. We have sold two facilities in Sherman and McKinney, and continue to operate the others. We have several new projects in development, and welcome opportunities to continue our growth.
Advantage has acquired expertise in the design, development, construction, operation and management of storage properties. Of these disciplines, we have identified operations and management as the one most impacting the success of the storage business, and have prioritized our professional growth and development in this vital area.
In 2004, we offered for the first time, our experience and services to third part self storage owners.
